Artist Development

Artist Development is a mentorship-driven program for dancers who want to grow as choreographers, collaborators, and creative thinkers, not only as performers.

Participants work directly with faculty on original choreography, score selection, dramaturgy, and the practical skills of building a piece from idea to stage. Sessions are part workshop, part private mentorship, and part community critique.

This program is open by audition or invitation and is designed for advanced dancers, emerging choreographers, and alumni who want a continued creative home at Fort Dance.
